Teri Pinney, PresidentAward-winning Teri Pinney has a proven track record of obtaining millions of dollars of grant funding for her clients, which are profit & non-profit organizations and government entities. She is a certified grant writer and is affiliated with a team of grant professionals who provide research and technical writing. Teri's specialty is in achieving funds for organizations through grants and proposals for clients primarily in Florida and around the U.S.
Up until 2016, Teri was Executive Director of the Florida Aquaculture Foundation, a nonprofit organization with a mission to promote economic empowerment through education & training in aquaculture. She's been a lead evaluator of accreditation teams for AdvancED-SACS (formerly Southern Association of Colleges and Schools). As an education writer, she has written dozens of Quality Assessment Review reports on private and public schools, indicating recommendations toward accreditation. Teri Pinney currently teaches grant writing workshops for the Indian River State College's Business & Entrepreneurship's CCTI.
Teri Pinney has also been chairman of the governing board of the College Preparatory Academy of the Treasure Coast, a charter high school in the St. Lucie County School District in Florida. She served on the Board of Directors of the St. Lucie County Chamber of Commerce and was the chairperson of the Treasure Coast Regional Planning Council's Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy Committee. She now actively serves as a board member for the Center of AgriLife Research Education & Entrepreneurship.
She is a native of Hawaii, which explains her love of the Hawaii mountains on this website. Teri has a Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Tampa in Business Management and a Masters of Business Administration degree from Chaminade University in Honolulu.
